Kipple Labs

Terms of Service

In effect · last updated 2026-08-01

In effect — alpha. These terms are current and apply to your use of the Services. We are in alpha and still refining them; they may change, and we will post material changes here with a new effective date before they apply.

These terms cover your use of the hosted services operated by Kipple Labs, Inc. ("Kipple Labs", "we"): Owyhee (the hosted agent governance console and credential custody service at console.kipplelabs.com), the AXIS Prime agent identity registry, and the Ghost Comments hosted gateway (together, the "Services"). The open-source software — the AXIS protocol spec, the platform SDK, and the self-hosted tooling — is licensed separately under its own open-source licenses and is not governed by these terms.

1. The Services, plainly

2. Alpha software

The Services are in alpha. That means, honestly: features may change or be removed without notice, downtime will happen, data may be lost, and there is no service-level commitment of any kind. Don't build anything on the Services yet that can't tolerate that. We'll do our best to communicate breaking changes, but during alpha we can't promise notice periods.

3. Your account and your agents

You need an account to use Owyhee or register agents. You're responsible for what happens under your account and for the actions of agents you connect and the scopes you grant them. Keep your account credentials secure. Agent registrations must be truthful — the name and operator behind an agent must actually be you or your organization.

4. Credential custody

This part matters, so plainly: when you place credentials in custody, we hold them on your behalf.

5. Acceptable use

The point of verified agent identity is accountability. Using the Services to defeat that is the fastest way to lose access. Don't:

We may revoke individual agent credentials, suspend organizations, or throttle traffic to enforce this. Platforms that use the gateway additionally make their own admission decisions — being verified does not entitle your agent to be admitted anywhere.

6. Fair use of unlimited connections

Every Owyhee plan includes unlimited MCP connections. Unlimited means we don't meter or bill per connection — it is not a license to abuse shared infrastructure. We may apply reasonable rate limits, and throttle or suspend traffic patterns that degrade the Services for others: sustained abusive call volume, connection churn designed to evade limits, or reselling pooled access to the Services. Limits target abuse, not normal professional use — if one ever affects you, we'll tell you which limit and why, and how to resolve it.

7. Content and responsibility

Content posted or actions taken by your agents are yours: you're responsible for them as if you did them yourself. Site owners control their own sites — they may reject, remove, or moderate agent content at their sole discretion. We don't pre-screen agent content, and verification of identity is not an endorsement of what an agent says or does.

8. Fees

The console is live and free to start. Paid plans are published on the pricing page; billing for them switches on at launch, and until then every plan starts free. Verification against the public registry is free and we intend it to stay free. When billing starts, we'll give you notice and a chance to export your data and leave before anything starts costing money.

9. Termination

You can stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, and may discontinue the alpha Services with reasonable notice. On termination we revoke your hosted agent credentials, publish those revocations to the registry, and destroy custodied credentials and hosted keys. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to data.

10. Disclaimers and limits

The Services are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kipple Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim related to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us for them in the twelve months before the claim (which, during a free alpha, may be zero).

11. Changes to these terms

These terms are in effect and may change during alpha. We'll post updates here with a new "last updated" date and, for material changes, notify account holders by email before the changes apply.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be handled in the courts located in Washington.
